I’ve been hiking a lot lately since the weather has been amazing. I did over 20 miles in 48 hours, plus over 2,000 feet in elevation gains. So many beautiful views and fun little scrambles.
You don’t need any special gear for hiking, but the rule is no cotton. Cotton never dries so if you get caught in any rain, you will be wet, cold, and miserable until you get changed or die from shock. These socks are Merino wool and the boots are leather and Gore-Tex. Everything else is a polyester blend.
